Incredible! Why Did God Send Jesus To Die On The Cross
This cup is the agony of hell Jesus had to endure on the cross. By DPCD released 01 October 2021 Birds fly where they want to Blinds open and close Lights go on in the evening Companions come and go Tables shelter their chairs in Shoes get worn out and lost Little ones hide their faces away And why did Jesus die on the cross.
With the shedding of His blood on the cross never again would animals need to die as our substitute.
Why did god send jesus to die on the cross. And the Passion and Death of his Son Jesus Christ served as a fitting way to show us Gods great love for us as well as the ugliness of sin. To atone for the sin of all the people of the earth only one person could bear the sins of many and thats Jesus. The penalty for sin is death Romans 623.
Death includes two dimensionsphysical and spiritual. He is suffering the penalty for our sin in our place. He is the once and for all sacrifice for all mankind.
But Jesus answered them saying The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified. 1 Peter 224 tells us He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. God sent Jesus not to deny the fact of sin or help us forget about our sin.
Surely its dregs shall all the wicked of the earth drain and drink down. Why Did Jesus Die on the Cross. On the cross God made His Son.
We have all heard that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and we know that the cross is probably one of the most agonizing ways to suffer and die. The Father lovingly sent his only begotten eternal Son to redeem us from sin and death John 316-17. Dishes get dirty and done Announcements go out to everyone Getting in and out of.
It is clear that crucifixion was the only death that would fulfill the Old Testament prophecies the predictions of what would happen to the Messiah. Hebrews 928 says so Christ having been offered once to bear the sins of many. Jesus is actually quoting the opening line of Psalm 22 and using it to express His deep agony on the cross.
Denials and cover-ups were not His purpose. It was the experience of Gods wrath as in Psalm 758 For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup and the wine is red. When God sent Jesus into the world the Son of God took on human flesh and provided a better sacrifice for sin and a better covenant with Gods people.
He believed that Christs sacrificial death was necessary in order to liberate humanity from sin and restore communion with the Father that the blood of Jesus was payment to God for human sin. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved John 316-17. In Gods infinite wisdom and intelligence its not only possible but even likely that God could have had other plans to redeem us from eternal separation from Him.
In this the love of God was manifested toward us that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world that we might. The manner of Christs death reflected Old Testament sacrifices where a lamb was burnt in offering and then later consumed by the worshippers. But of all the thousands of ideas God could have had he chose the sacrifice of Christ.
But knowing that God is God and He makes the rules why did He choose this method to reconcile people to Himself. It is fully mixed and He pours it out.
